Patrick Hickey Architects is a client-focused, residential architecture practice. We design simple, modern, site-specific architecture. Our studio is located in the City of Derry on the banks of the River Foyle in North-West Ireland. While many of our projects are located here, we accept - and are currently designing - commissions throughout the UK.

We get it! - We understand that for most Homeowners the decision to undertake a building project can represent a huge financial and emotional commitment. We can give assistance on all aspects of the building process including design, preparation of technical drawings, planning application submission, building regulations approval, budget and finding a builder. We don't do drama, we like to plan ahead. At the outset of a project we work with you to identify needs, set goals and agree the budget. We have some thirty years experience in the construction and design industry with knowledge of various building types and procurement methods. We appreciate the need to maintain quality whilst understanding the limitations of budget and programme. We are happy to discuss why we're different and what we can offer.

As the old saying goes, you wait ages for a bus and then two come along at once. We appreciate that workloads can vary considerably and we offer a range of support services to both architectural and construction professions. These include assistance with services procurement and appointments, design manager services, project programming, technical reviews and CAD drafting.
